Seven security officials of the state including police officers and TSR officials were declared to be awarded President’s Medal.Subedar Bankim Debbarma of the 12th battalion of TSR was named for the President’s Medal for bravery. Six others would be given President’s Medal for special contribution during service. They are SP (CID) L Darlong, Arjun Debbarma, Commandant of 7th battalion of TSR, Inspector (Procurement) LP Betu, Dy.SP Ratan Kumar Das, Dy.SP (Sadar) Debabrata Gope, Havaldar Ananda Singh of 12th battalion of TSR.
